Let's Get Ready to Rumble!
That's right derby fans, the Fairbanks Rollergirls are gearing up for their 2010-11 bout season! The uber-athletes of FBXRG have been training all summer (in between doing community service and generally being `good' girls in the off-season) to get ready for what promises to be our hardest hitting season yet. We are now a WFTDA Apprentice League attempting two bouts against other WFTDA (Women's Flat Track Derby Association) ranked leagues. This season, the Fairbanks Rollergirls are bringing new competitors up to the Interior from leagues all over the country, as well as a re-match bout between last year's newly formed home teams, the Raven Rebels and the Gold Diggers. In addition to the two returning teams of FBXRG, the league is looking to unveil its Junior Derby league this season which opens the door for girls under the age of 21 who want to learn to play roller derby. Only at the Carlson Center can you experience some of the best live sportsmanship in Fairbanks and we're counting on our loyal fans to help cheer on FBXRG this season. Come check out our new merchandise and a few new skaters as well as the familiar favorites! We will see you on the track…

FBXRG Featured in National Prilosec Commercial
The Fairbanks Rollergirls were recently featured in a national commercial for Prilosec OTC as a part of the Project Fairbanks ad campaign which offered up a brief look into the lives of a diverse group of Fairbanksans with a common problem: heartburn.
Fairbanks Rollergirls' own Jump On Jen was featured prominently in the commercial alongside her teammates during the Home for the Holidays bout in December of 2009.
